How to replace emissions sensor on 2006 suzuki forenza

why did you had the Cat change? cat converter it the heart for emission control
you had to change all the O2 sensors
Scan the car and see if all the o2 sensor are working when the car is operating temperature
after this you can see what is happening with the car and emission

you need to replace the transmission range sensor...about $80 at dealer if DIY

I had a heck of a time trying to figure this out myself. Finally found a solution thanks to a helpful youtube video. Watch this and you'll be able to change the headlight in your Suzuki Forenza

P0496 = EVAP Emission High Purge Flow Fault.

No warranty coverage?
- Likely a sticking purge valve, possibly accompanied by some strange cold idle conditions.
- Possible fuel tank pressure sender with an 'in range' failure-not likely.
- Possible false command from the main processor-not likely.

you will have at least 1 on the exhaust header and another one before and/or after the cataltyc convertor.

it is located on the hub of the car were the front wheel holds on to the car its a lttle black round looking sensor bolted on.
