Mercedes c220cdi does W or S position make different in fuel consumption

W is winter and it starts in a higher gear to prevent slipping when accelerating. S is standard. Standard is better for fuel economy.

Go to alldatadiy.com. (I don't work for them) They have the most extensive diagram's for everything: bumper to bumper.
I use them exclusively for all my electrical problems.
