Does it crank? If you shut it off and you restart after a few minutes and it cranks but won't start or starts and runs rough the injectors are leaking and flooding the engine. Need better description

Idles but wont pull

First of all I need more information. But on a guess, I would say you might have a half shaft problem. Does the car go into gear?

check that the battery posts and terminals are shiny clean and tight. Have a load test done on the battery as it indicates a bad cell.

2001 ford taurus wont start

I see that you replaced battery, coil, plugs, wires, cap and rotor. Did you or do you have a check engine light or SES light on? If you did not I agree with the problem being Anti theft which includes a replacement key not having a transponder chip. BUT at the same time it could be something as simple as dirty battery post or bad battery cables, since sometimes it does start. I RECOMMEND CHECKING THE BATTERY CABLES FIRST. let me know if this works for you.

sounds like it could be a coil issue after its been sitting for awhile it starts again correct? when its running the coil will warm up and if there is a small crack in it anywhere it will seperate and loose its contact therefore interupting the spark for the engine and it will die. or it could be a bad fuel pump or even cheeper yet check the fuel filter.

Ford taurus won't start when car been running for awhile

Could be your alternator not being able to spin enough current to start the car. Battery alone wont be enough to start the car. The alternator kicks in and helps. So check the alternator out. Take the alternator out and take it to autozone and they will check it for you for free.

This sounds like a fuel pump problem and you would need to check fuel pressure while it is happining to verify to repair you would need to replace the fuel pump assm. and to do this you will need to drop the tank to gain access to the pump. But as I said you will need to verify it first.
