My clutch feels really light and is sometimes hard to get into gear. But other times it is fine.
Check your hydraulic fluid for the clutch. It's under your hood by your brake fluid. If this is low, the clutch will not work properly.
There is a bearing that presses on flat springs of the clutch plate and slides back and forth on a hollow tube when you press the pedal. These can get fouled with road crud and then hang now and then when you press the pedal and perhaps not fully disengage the clutch as it should producing either a stiff action or even worse, the gnashing of gear teeth. Some bell housings have inspection plates that can provide enough access to use some cleaner/lubricant on the hollow shaft on which the 'throwout' bearing must slide.

Clutch pedal is sometimes soft and should press it deep down in order for gear to be ok
clutch pedal feels light, gears grind when trying to engage into first. If start in first and drive and powershift it works. Clutch seems to not disengage. The hydralic clutch seems to throw the fork far enough to disengage, but it's not actually disengaging
