Does this happen at all while turning the car? It could be a hub bearing. Just replaced mine and it was a humming sound. It would be pretty loud around 15 to 40 mph but got quieter after that.

Sounds to me like it could be a wheel bearing bad the best way to tell without tearing it apart would be when you are driving down the road and it is making the noise slightly turn the steering wheel left and right if the noise changes at all then it is the wheel bearing pretty commen problem
