1999 Chevy Blazer windshield wiper problems

Having problems with the timing of my windshield wipers. Windows were frozen the other day from frost and the drivers side wiper was stuck temporarily. When it thawed it got tangled with the other wiper. I got them apart but now timing is off for the driver's side wiper. How can this be adjusted?

Indicates that the arm has turned on the shaft
loosen off that arm
place the wipers in the parked position , reposition the arm correctly and re tighten it

SOURCE: Windshield Wiper Arm

Pull up on the wiper arm, you will see a tiny little blade on the side of the wiper arm where it goes over the post, take a little screwdriver and pry that out board, this will release the arm from the post, it will be tight, wiggle the arm and pull straight out away from the post.

SOURCE: my driver side windshield wiper

The wipers on our 2005 Impala would also park in the vertical position. I was perplexed b/c the tab on the wiper motor mounting bracket was not bent down out of alignment. As it turned out, I was simply able to lubricate the spring loaded arm mechanism (in this case on top of the wiper motor/transmission), and this corrected the problem.

2007 Chevy equinox windshield wiper fluid goes to the back window when I push the front windshield wiper, but

"If the windshield wiper fluid of your Chevy Equinox ends up on the rear window instead of the windshield, there could be several possible causes:

Damaged or incorrectly connected windshield wiper fluid tube: The tube that carries the windshield wiper fluid from the reservoir to the base of the front windshield wiper may be damaged or not connected properly, causing the fluid to leak elsewhere.

Clogged windshield wiper fluid outlet: The outlet of the windshield wiper fluid on the base of the front windshield wiper may be clogged with dirt or debris, causing the fluid to flow onto another part of the car, such as the rear window.

Windshield wiper system issues: There may be a problem with the windshield wiper system of your Chevy Equinox that causes the fluid to leak onto other parts of the car instead of the windshield."

How do I change wiper blades 2001 Chevy blazer

Open the cap at the end of the windshield wiper arm at the cowl of the Blazer. This will reveal the bolt that secures the wiper arm to the wiper linkage.
Unbolt the wiper arm using a 3/8-inch ratchet and socket. Place the bolt to the side, as you will reuse it later.
Pull the wiper arm up at the blade so that the blade of the wiper is pointing into the air. Then pull at the base of the arm, wiggling it slightly. It's a keyed gear, so it may take a little bit of workunderlined.png?1 to break it free, but with the right amount of wiggling, it will disengage.

The windshield wipers on my Chevy Blazer 97 stopped working, just makes a sound, but not moving? What do I need to check/replace?

Sounds like the windshield wiper motor needs to be replaced. The gear inside may be stripped so you'll hear it running but it won't do anything. I've had that happen with the rear wiper motor. Hope that helps.
