Hi,
The service will be due at a certain mileage OR a certain date, whichever comes FIRST.
So if the service book says it should have an 80,000 mile service, that has come first, before the calendar schedule.
It's a yellow warning light, which is a 'first-stage' light. A red light is a problem, a yellow one is just a reminder/warning.!
It's safe to drive it, but get it in for it's service as soon as you can as its now over the scheduled service period.
Best of luck.
I drive a 2008 VE SSV 6LT Commodore Sports Wagon
I have current issue with Engine runs rough, Engine light ON. Traction Control Off
I have checked, plugs and leads which were replace September 2013 and swapped them also with identical car to no resolve
I can advice you only this can do in Mercedes dealer workshop, By Mercedes Benz diagnostic computer, you ask them you need to software update and reset your adaptation data in your transmission and engine control units, when you do the transmission you have to do the engine software update too otherwise it can make software clash between two control modules, if software version different, is this information helped you?
You can see when the engine crank is the instrument cluster indicators light getting low light, if it's like that could be not enough battery, how ever you can try with jump other battery be careful don't mix up the battery connection it will dammed your car complete electronic system after jump the battery is the car crank fast but not start need to be check fuel presser and crank angle sensor it's can do by Mercedes diagnose tool get in to the authorized Mercedes workshop and plug diagnose computer in to the car and check the fault code that's the good way to do it otherwise you will spend money for unuseful thing.it be loose your money. if you get right diagnose it's will save your money.
yes it could be a fuel related problem, when was your last tune up, it could also be a spark issue, old or corroted spark plugs will sometimes not put out the correct amount of heat to ignite the gas correctly till it runs for a while, if the check engine light isnt lit, it will almost have to be something simular to this
It could be that your gas tank has some crud in it or the fuel pump is about to go. As well a dirty fuel filter could be culpret and check the airfilter and PVC valve.
Hi, Joe here
The problem sounds like a faulty crankshaft position sensor. The sensor is located on the transmission bell housing on the left side. Can be accessed threw the top of the engine near the firewall.
