I would hazard a guess and say that wires in the rubber boot from the door pilar to the door are damaged or the connection block in the door pillar in this the terminals are corroded or something similar

Door wont open from outside

remove the door trim and replace the door lock rod in side at the lock . It is held in place by a plastic clip which breaks on a regular basis and allows the rod to fall out.

My dome lights mirrors or door locks want work if i have my door cloosed but if i turn dome light switch all the way on with door open it all works if i cut my dome light switch off with doors open mirrors...

It's some kind of short. my guess either the wiring in the boot between the door itself and the frame/ body. or possibly in the circuit for the door courtesy switch, lastly the dome light circuit. if you have a test light, probe for a faulty circuit (grounding or incomplete)

Door open indicator stays on and lights stay on and car won't lock

One of the doors "thinks" it is open. That will make light stay on, power door locks will not operate and alarm will not arm itself. If the indicator shows which door is open, then check on the door frame for the door ajar pin / switch. Move it by hand repeatedly to see if it is stuck or misaligned. If unable, then pull the pin out to check the connection, and if still no help, then bridge (short) the cables to see if dome light goes out. If this is the case, then replace the pin.

Ford Taurus SE 1999. Dome Light - Door Ajar indicator problem. This is an intermittent problem, hence far more difficult to isolate. OK. I will be thorough in describing this "set of problems" as I do...

i must say that i feel your pain with this,, my door ajar light does the same thing but my dome light doesn't come on when the doors are open, i have to flick the switch on the dome light to make it come on. In my opion and i stress my opion it saounds like a issue with the body controller, im not sure what ford calls it but it controls all the body functions, i dont think the low coolant light is connected to the body contoller but i dont know this for sure, i think that light is controlled bny the engine ecm. some times a dealer can connect to the body controller and see if there are any fault codes for circuits that it controls and or monitors, also they can reflash or update the configeration and or calibration level cause ford release's fixes for issues all the time, same theory works for any control module on a vehicle. i dont think any of the auto parts stores have the right program to connect to bofy controlers but i could be wrong, worth looking into. i only put up with mine cause i use it as a beater, if you are worried about your dome light staying on and drianing your battery then you could pull out or disconnect the dome lights for the time being, its not a fix but just a band-aid.

Dome light and outside mirror lights stay on

if your door ajar light stays on, spray some wd-40 into the latch and work it a few times. the sensors tend to get stuck and a little wd-40 (or other lubricant) frees it up pretty good. A simpler check would be to make sure that the over head lights are turned off on the dash!!!
