My remote unlocks the doors, but when I push the remote to lock the doors only the front doors lock. The back seat doors and the tail gate door does not lock. The driver ddor maual electric lock only works onthe fornt doors too. I can manually lock the back seat doors and the front seat doors, but the tail gate door I am not able to lock manually, or at least I don't know of any way to manually lock the door.
I tried disconnecting the battery, but that did not work. The remote will unlock the front seat doors and the back seat doors.
Help I am going on a trip and I need to lock the door.
Actually I found a solution. I remove the lock relay form the fuse panel and placed it back in place. I did not replace it. After doing this they worked. I probably need to replace the relay at some point, but for now that solved the problem. It was hard for me to believe that there is a separate relay for the lock and unlock circuit.

I have a 2003 chevy avalanche and the back doors are not locking with the keyless remote or with the button on the drivers side door. They will unlock but not lock.
