How do i get the code from my radio to unlock it before i unhook my battery on a 04 impala ls

Go to the parts dept of the dealer with proof of ownership, and they can help, although some may charge a fee. If you didn't buy the vehicle new, check your owner's manual, as some people write them in there. I've also had fair luck with on line lists, but it can be time consuming. Good luck!
