2000 kia sephia the clutch pedal stays at the floor. How to resolve this?
hi, if the pedals on the floor the clutch cable has snapped. will need replacement. please locate the cable and see if it has a part number on the outer sleeve. this may be an easy fix it depends on routing through the firewall. if this is a hydrolic clutch the master cylinder is been leaking or either completely empty of (brake fluid used for the clutch) or the clutch pipe has burst (wo'nt HOLD ANY PRESSURE). the thrust bearing has gone through the diaphram (this is a large fingered spring on the clutch to release drive to the gearbox). the gearbox will need to come out if this is the case i hope i have answered and. gerry
