Car stopped accelerating. now it won't start

How much oil did you add? Did it fill it back up? Was there an oil "puddle"under the engine when you stopped?

Check oil level. If empty, your clicking maybe a bad engine bearing. It pays to get consistent, timely factory recommended service.

Sir if the starter is not even turning im sorry to inform your engine might be broken. Lack of oil could be the reason. I d reccomend to send to a mechanic shop inmediately.

Any warning light's lit on the instrument cluster ? Check engine , reduced engine power etc...

Could be, but you will need to check for trouble codes, since the engine light came on. The code or codes may help you troubleshoot it.

I would look at the ignition switch and the neutral safety switch for voltage. It could be the ignition switch is worn out and not making contact with all of the circuits. The neutral safety switch would be affected by moving the shifter.

sounds like either a clogged fuel filter or bad fuel pump. Filter is cheaper and easier, go with that first

They did the right things. Those are the first attempts to address the issue. However the issue is not resolved, please have them to check the ECU. When this is faulty, it gives the misfires or poor acceleration due to the wrong gas/ air mixture controlled by ECU. This is an expensive replacement . Make sure they can diagnose correctly.

disconnect exhaust ,muffler or cat may be stopped up
