It should be underhood, driver side on upper firewall, it does not look like a typical ignition module, but I looked around and for your info, you can find a picture of it on autzone.com Hope this helps.

I have a 1988 Dodge Ram 4x4. Its a v8 318 throttle body. When I got it, the distributer cap & 12 volt coil was missing. I need to know how to put them on

Distributor cap will have an alignment notch and will only fit on one way and the ignition wire will go to the positive side of the coil and the negative side to the distribuotr points.

1999 Dodge Ram van 1500 no pick up power

I had a similiar problem on my 1999 Dodge Ram 1500 Conversion Van. It ended up being a partial collapse of the catalytic converter which didn't allow adequate exhaust. The problem only showed itself because I could not get over 55 mph going up a small hill.

My 97 dodge pickup 318 engine will miss sometimes and some times it will run just fine. it will do this while driving and just idling. Pretty much the same issue but with a 95 5.9L. Usually will spit and...

first ... put a bottle or two of gas line antifreeze in the tank (it sucks up water in the fuel)... if that doesn't sort it out.... your coil pack may be dying
