You may be able to access the bulb housing under the hood. open the hood and look behind the turn signal for the bulb housing. once located, grasp the housing and turn counterclockwise about a quarter and then pull. be sure to replace wtih the same type/part number bulb.

Need to change flasher relay in 1997 Mercury Grand marquis . where is it?

From the 1997 Mercury Grand Marquis 4.6L SFI 8cyl repair manual, the Flasher is located behind left side of instrument panel. The turn signal and emergency flashers are attached to the interior fuse panel. They are replaced in the same manner as the fuses and circuit breakers.

Need to replace both front turn signal light bulbs on a 2000 mercury grand marquis. How?

Pop the hood, there is a tray that sits over the radiator, if the locks are still intact, twist them until the tray comes free, (There should be 3 plastic locks) remove the tray. Now you have access to the lights. There is an orange plug on both sides (L&R Headlights). Turn the plug until it frees up, then slide plug out of headlamp fixture. Then simply pull the bulb out and replace with new bulb.

Turn signals dont work brake lights dont work

You didn't mention your rear brake lights. If they don't work either then you probably have a bad light control module (LCM). This is a common problem with big Fords. You can buy a replacement part ($250) or have yours rebuilt (www.autoecu.com). The module is located under the dash to the right of the steering column and is fairly easy to replace.
Do the turn signals work? If not it may be the turn signal switch. The aftermarket parts are cheaper than a Ford factory part; check the guarantee before deciding.
Worse case scenario? You need both parts.
