I have problems opening the trunk automatically on a 2007 Mercedes Benz e350. It will only open with the key.

i take it its an automatic you will have to tow it over 30 mph for it to kick over but it should still open with the key manually in the boot

Do not panic but instead consider calling a dealer to avoid making any mistakes here.

You must access and scan your onboard computer system to diagnose the fault.

if you open the arm rest in the back seat then open the acess door to the trunk should be a pull cable to open trunk just inside

2007 then to re programme key it needs dealer software diagnostic machine ,if this is the problem but i think the problem is the operating solonoid in the boot ,i think it may be stuck or sticking ,locking but not releasing and if this is the case then remove the panel and oil the rod on top of the operating mechanism with engine oil so it soaks down into the solonoid and after a couple of days it should free its self up .

you need to have a scanner in order to read the transmission fluid temperature in order to fill the transmission to the correct level. The level is checked and set by opening the drain plug on the transmission pan which is also used as the filler plug.

Try unlocking trunk with emergency key,inside remote

can you go through the trunk and open trunck from inside. or open hood and try to jump power to the starter hot eire and ground to engine turn key on and use remote to open trunk.......

Doesn't sound like the batterys flat in the remote Probably have to go to a merc dealer

Have you checked for blown fuse in panel.
