Where is the ignition control module located on a 1991 Dodge Dakota?

Ignition control is effected by the PCM (powertrain control module). On the 3.9L V6 and 5.9L V8 engine, there is a module in the distributor that sends camshaft position information to the PCM called the distributor pickup coil. A similar component in other manufacturer models may be called the ignition control module.

Check if current in the coil as the ignition module and shutdown relay.Thanks

check the coil for cracks also check the igniton module for shorts and the ignition wire for breaks or shorts to ground
