Nissan maxima 2000, related ignition switch but still as soon as battery is connected the relay clicks (near battery 3rd one) and tries to start the car without even key in the ignition...

the relay should not have any power to it. i would think there is a sort some were on the ignition. i would check the ignition wiring and make sure its not damaged or assembled wrong. relay should only get power when the key is in ignition and turned to start engine.

Is there an OBD1 readear for a 95 Nissan Maxima?

In rare cases your 1995 Maxima might use OBD2 but it is probably a OBD1. You could try an OBD1 reader but unfortunately OBD1 was not anywhere as useful for diagnostics as the OBD2.

My 2000 Nissan Maxima will not start-no clicking, just dead. The battery was tested and is good.

You probably need a new starter. Try locating the starter and hit on it 2 or 3 times, then try starting the vehicle again......If it starts then you need a new starter.

My 2005 maxima wont start. when i turn the key there is a lot of clicking noises but no turn over. Is this a starter problem?

If it just clicks once when you turn the key it sounds like your battery. If it clicks multiple times when you turn the key, like a ratchiting sound, it is probably your starter.

Car won't start

check first the ground connections and the terminals if they are loose. Check also the starter relay and its cables. Have the starter capacitor checked. If that does not resolve it go to the starter motor and have it checked.

Pl;ease help

Check power and ground to starter motor with circuit loaded (ie. attempting to start) If these are good then replace starter motor.
