Well... i would start by checking the coil to see if its any good. after you do that check to see if spark plugs are in correct place, if all that is done. then the distrubitor cap may be old and have no contact for the ignition you need. if all else fails check fuel lines, injectors that sorta thing.

1984 starter location? How do you change it. New battery but no ignition crank or engine turnover.
