I have a problem in idling with my honda civic lxi 1999 whenever my ac turns on, my rpm goes down to 600 i already clean the IAC but still the same problem. please help. thanks

To my knowledge (at least in my country), some Honda Civics have a compensator solenoid the pushes on the throttle that adjust the engine's RPM to its standard idling when the A/C compressor is activated. Technically, this solenoid is nothing more but a coil and a plunger. When the compressor runs, the same relay activates this solenoid and pushes the plunger forward increasing the RPM. Pls check/clean/adjust/replace as deemed fit and necessary.

Incidentally, I was made to understand that in some Honda Civic intended or manufacture in and for other countries/regions have an Idle Control Solenoid Valve (ICSV) is used to
compensate for idle speed reduction due to electrical, or other loads
on the engine such as the compressor kicking in. The air/fuel ratio during idling is controlled by
the Electronic Control Unit (ECU, or from 1993-on, Engine Control
Module, ECM) and various solenoid valves such as idle control, fast
idle and air conditioning idle control solenoid valves. With the
exception of the air conditioning idle control solenoid valve, these
change the amounts of air bypassing into the air intake manifold. The
air conditioning control solenoid valve opens the throttle when the air
conditioner is turned on by signals sent from the ECU/ECM.
