I have a 2001 Buick Century and the blinkers are blinking real fast, now I know it usually means a light bulb is burned out. I checked all the bulbs and found a bulb in the rear that was burned out so I replaced it, but it was now a blinker light and the blinkers are still blinking fast. When I put the turn signals on both the rear blinkers blink but the front blinkers only come on but don't blink. I replace both the front blinker lights and still nothing changed, they only come on but don't blink. There are no lights, front or back that are burned out, all are working. Any idea what it could be?

Maybe the Multi function switch. The hazards on my car just came on and would not turn off. That was the problem.

SOURCE: my car stalls while driving and i can smell

for the signals check the flasher, put a new one in if you have the same problem then make sure grounds are good to those lamp sockets, the stalling i would start with the battery cable that goes to relay box under hood, common problem with those, the cable going to the box heat up melting the plastic around connection, making car stall and sometimes not starting depending on how bad it is. well start ther, good luck hope this helps.

Taillight is on but no blinker, blinker in front blinks fast

Turn signal bulbs usually use 2 separate filaments, one for tail one for turn. A working tail filament does not mean the turn filament is ok. Fast blinking on other bulbs indicate a burned out filament.

What causes blinker to blink real fast

Could be a bad bulb ,plug, wire, or flasher; Check the side marker lights also, some are connected to the turn signal.

I have a 89 buick century and the front left blinker is not working but all the other lights work. also i changed the bulb and it still doesnt work, can someone help?

Well, Lets see, When the Left Blinker front is not working does the bulb turn on BUT, Just doesn't blink. If it turns on and no blink You need to also, check the rear bulb.If eight er one is bad they will NOT blink. The turn indicator on the dash does that blink.. If you find all the bulbs are GOOD
Then, I recommend take out the Front bulb and look into the socket be sure it's clean no rust.
Also, be sure you put the proper bulb in. I know the 1156 bulb looks the same as the 1157.
Be sure, you installed the right part number Let me know.

The left blinker on my 2001 mercury sable blinks twice as fast as my right one. Does that mean I should replace the bulb?

This usually indicates that there is a bulb burned out.You will need to put the right signals on and walk around the vehicle too see which ones need to light up in order to find the one on the left that is burned out when you turn the signal to the left.

1998 buick regal ls back blinkers flash real fast, front blinkers do nothing

The blink rate of the flashers is governed by the electrical load applied by the indicator bulbs themselves. If a bulb breaks or becomes disconnected the load drops and the blink rate increases as a result. Check out the wiring to the front indicators, the socket connections and the bulbs to ensure that they are working.

I have a blinker problem. When my high beams come on when it turns dark and I use my left blinker it blinks real fast and it makes all my blinkers blink real fast.

Bad ground, or check all your bulbs. Usually its a ground in the back of the truck under where the spare is. If its not the ground check the bulbs. Please rate Thank you
