I do not have schematics on hand in computer. You may be able to go to local library and find manual for the vehicle and copy schematics from book.

they should swap just fine. 1996 and on are interchangeable. 1995 could go either way. 1994 and older are interchangeable.

Ignition module sits in the ignition distributor, remove distributor cap, there will be two elec. harness plugs, the one with two wire's is for the pick up coil, the other one is for the ignition module, just unscrew module out of distributor and install new one.

I have a 1997 chevy S10 Blazer with a 4.3 V6 and I get 300 code. What do I need to check?

Hello...

So that we are all on the same subject. The code means Multiple Misfires are being detected. This can be caused by a bad Fuel Pump, Fuel Regulator, Bad Spark Plugs or Wires or Dist or Rotor, Camshaft or Crankshaft Sensor.

These codes are sometimes hard to troubleshoot but i would start simple with the ignition and work from there...

Good Luck....

1997 chevy s10 blazerdash wont light up when key

the dash sound's like a fuse, check the fuse box under the hood and in the door jamb on the side of the dash, also check your fuel filter and fuel pump, im betting on the pump because i have a 2001 chevy blazer that has had two replaced and it has 233000km on it!
