Hello! The first two codes are indicating the engine is running to lean...A vacuum leak or a dirty Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor can cause these codes...The third code is a communication error between ECM (Computer) and ABS (automatic Braking System)...Lets put that one on the back burner...Perform the following and send a comment with results...

Check for loose or broken vacuum lines...Follow diagram under hood...

The MAF is located between the air filter and the throttle body...It can be cleaned, If contaminated with debris or if you are using an after market air filter, with oil....Remove MAF (see photo below) and spray with electronic parts cleaner (sold at auto stores and Radio Shack)...Then replace...Clear codes by disconnecting battery for 5 minutes...Make sure you have your radio code before disconnecting battery...

I have a 2004 suzuki verona. check engine light was on. they say it was th tps. found out you cannot just change the sensor so i cleaned the throttle body. now the check engine light is out but the car is...

Check the gas cable, it may be too tight. You can do that easily. I had the same problem with that "famous" engine light. Use 91 octane gasoline and take a ride on a highway 100 to 110 kmh speed (1 hour minimum). I have a 2004 Verona and it is a great car.

2004 suzuki verona emissions issue. Check engine light stays on. Shows no error codes, says mixture lean. Can you give a solution?.

A few things to check:
1. A bad intake manifold gasket
2. A missing O ring gasket between the air filter cover & the MAF sensor.
3. A dirty fuel filter.

What's the code? P0171 & P0174 would indicate a vacuum leak. P0171 could be the MAF sensor. Good luck, I'm still fixing all my Verona's annoying "quirks".

Check engine light

I found that my check engine light comes on when I fail to turn the gas cap two clicks. It has something to do with the air . After I paid $50 for one of those diagnostics, I always make sure when it comes on to check if my husband failed to click the gas cap, correct the problem and the check engine light goes out before I have to gas up the next time and will stay off as long as I am the sole driver.
