Its because or engine rpm is below 800 when u remove your foot from the gas pedal, try adjusting your engine rpm to 800 or above to get a smoother idle speed

My 2002 kia rio is kinda lowd and it vibrates when in park or at a stop sign

Sounds like it's misfiring. Possible causes are:
  1. Bad spark plug
  2. Bad spark plug wire
  3. Clogged fuel injector
  4. Exhaust leak
In most cases, a good tune up will fix your issue. It's best to rule out the exhaust system first. A leaking exhaust will lose compression and impact performance.

MY 2002 Kia Rio Cinco has a bad vibrating problem. My mechic thinks it could be in the exust system. How do I get this checked out

My 2002 Kia Rio Cinco has always had a vibration problem at 60 miles that stops at 70. We were advised to lower air in tires and keep them all equal. To make a long story short. My husband is a mechanic and could not stand this vibration. He set out to figure it out. The right drive axle is warped. Replaced it today and no vibration. It is hard to see, but with the tire off and up on floor jack you can see the wobble. I believe that this is a design flaw that was common to all Kia Rios. Or why would there be so many with the same vibration problem.

All dash function went out, stick shift locked in park
