I recently had an oil change and the O2 sensor (upstream/intake) replaced. After 1000 mi. my oil pressure light has sarted to come on when the engine idles. The idle speed is 700+/-100 and I am within that range, as soon as my RPM gets just above 1000 the light goes off. Any suggestions?
I had the same problem with my 2003 Lancer OZ. The oil level and pressure were ok. Car was fine with no light when starting. After 10 to 15 mins of driving it would come on when I was stopped. It would go away when I pressed accelerator. Try replacing the Oil Sending Unit. It's about $10 and easy to swap. That was my problem.
Not anough oil oil pump is weak,, bad sencer light sticking..if the car is not running hot check the oil level if it full your pump in the crank case may be bad,,or check your pvc..or egr valve,, check for engine codes. also

Sorry, I also noticed that this only happens after the engine is warm. The car does not overheat, no strange noise, appears to operate as normal, other than the light.
