The daytime running lights are dim, even the headlights when I turn them on are about half as bright as they should be. With the lights on, my right turn signal barely blinks, with the lights off, the turn signal works fine. I have checked all the bulbs for the right side of the van and they are good. Replaced the flasher relay and headlight switch, no change. Any ideas??

if that is the case i believe your altenator is bad and draining the battery the altenator runs the engine and charges the battery the battery starts the vehicle and runs all the electronics and accessories the regulator is not working and therefore the battery is not getting charged and as the vehicle is running and the lights are on they will get dimmer and dimmer until there is no voltage left in the battery. reploace the altenator and the problem will go away...please rate this

I had the same problem with my '98 corolla... It was the headlight relay.. I just had to push it in and both lights worked fine... There are 2 relays - both under the hood... The first one is located all the way in the front of the car, right by the left headlight (when you are standing infront of the car)... The second one is located inside of the fuse/relay box (above the driver tire)...The relay looks brown in color, rectangle shaped ... Just try to clean it out and plug it back in...if it doesn't work, try replacing it... For me, I just cleand it and plugged it back in and every thing worked fine...

You loose all turn signal lights outside? Do they blink on the dash?
SOURCE: turn off 05 equinox daytime headlights
You can turn them off with the headlight switch, rotate it counter clockwise. You will have to do this every time you start the vehicle. Thank our government for this one. There is also a relay in the under hood fuse block DRL relay. Pull it, but be sure your low beam head lights still work with the switch. Good Luck
