Replacing center console in 2001 tahoe ,, how difficult can I replace with a 2002 console have a 2001 tahoe with a center jump seat style console ,, have located a wrecked 2002 tahoe with a full center console, want to remove jump seat and replace with console ,, can this be done ,,

the springed hinge and the top are damaged on the center console of my 2004 tahoe. i want to change it out, compartment included. it looks like 4 rivets will do it but i don't see them listed anywhere......

To just replace the mirror glass there are a few different styles, but they all pull off. I suggest you wear gloves and glasses. Get a grip behing the glass and pull out. You should see a round circular bracket in the center. The new mirror just snaps into the bracket. Center new mirror and push evenly in the center of glass until it snaps into place. Dont push in by holding the edges, you'll break it. If you don't see the circle or it comes off with the glass it was too damaged for just glass. Power or manual mirros differ inside, but the mirror replacement is the same. If you mean the entire mirror only, remove door panel. Lower window, remove electrical connector if power, remove 3 bolts attaching mirror to door. Remove.

Yes you do. Not a quick job. If you have a center consol you will also need to remove the seats to remove the center consol, so you can remove the dash.

There are two knock sensors on your vehicle. Both are located under the intake manifold. I would replace both if going to do the work yourself. There is also a wiring harness kit for the sensors you should replace. It is a difficult job.

check fuses,also the socket it self could be wore out they are easy to replace,

There is no fix for this, u will need to replace the seat belt.

first i would check your fuses to make sure you havent blown one

check for hidden screws at the bottom of the console sometimes these are in the carpet and also some are inside the console when you open the console you feel down in there with your hands for small screws and nuts

The most likely cause is the switch, replace it.
