Is ther a fuse for air bag light and were is it

The airbag is not fused externally, the fuse is on the PCB in the air bag monitor module.

Diagnostic Trouble Code 51—Air Bag Diagnostic Monitor Internal Thermal Fuse—Fuse Blown Due to Intermittent Short to Ground Normal Operation
NOTE: The air bag diagnostic monitor contains an internal thermal fuse that is not serviceable. The thermal fuse is controlled by the microprocessor inside the air bag diagnostic monitor . The microprocessor inside the air bag diagnostic monitor will blow the thermal fuse whenever a short on the deployment circuits occurs. The thermal fuse does not blow because of excessive current flowing through it. DO NOT attempt to short circuit the thermal fuse with a circuit breaker or any other type of fuse.

when an air bag light stays on ther is a bad crash sensor. take it to a shop with a good scanner (snap on scaner) they can tell you wich one is bad.

i may be mistaken on if this applies to your model year but if the rear wiper does not work then check the fuse for rear wiper and replace if blown. make sure rear wiper switch is off and wiper is parked.if air bag light goes out after a few seconds then the rear wiper motor is bad causing fuse to blow. air bag module gets power for its fuse through wiper fuse.if wiper is not parked then fuse may blow when you turn yhe key on.you have two choices. replace wiper motor or remove tailgate door panel and unplug the motor

this must be diagnosed with a computer monitor,body shop, repair shop,or dealer. ther are several switches and relays that could go bad causing the light to come on.if you had the service information on diagnosing the problem you would need the expensive monitor to test it.being an auto mechanic for 45 years i would have to take it to someone to repair.the air bags will not operate when this light is on.

You have probably had your battery removed? Clock you can fix by setting the time. The airbag warning light indicates that ther's a problem with your airbag. Check if the co-drivers airbag is turned on. If the light is still on, take it to the shop to be checked.

OK I THINK YUO PROBLEM IS IN THE STEERING WEEL THER IS A CICUIT INSIDE THIS ONE GETS DESTROY OVER THE YEARS THIS ONE GIVES POWER TO THE AIR BAG AND CRUISE CONTROL IN ORDER TO FIX IT YOU HA TO TAKE THE WEEL OFF AND LOOK INSIDE UNTILL YOU FIND IT IS CONECTED TO THE AIR BAG AND BEFORE YOU DO SOMETHING DISCONECT THE NEGATIVE CABLE OFF FROM THE BATTERY

hi then it needs to be reset or if some has done anywork on the car thers adrivers squib that if damiged will cause the air bag light to come on or if a fuse has being pulledout then replace it can trip the air bag light best to get it plugedin to be reset to see if thers any codes

Sounds like an air bag problem. You will not be able to reset the light without fixing the problem. The steering wheel airbag electrical contact is suspect. Airbag will have to be removed and problem repaired. . I do not recommend you repair the problem unless qualified.
