Service light and airbag light comes on whilst driving on my 2004 renault trafic dci 1400

The impact sensor is for the airbags. They are normally just behind the front bumper.

Did you fix the problem? If not the light will come back on. If you take the light out. The codes are still in the computer..

Its a plastic accelerator pedal type !
replace the pedal sensor

give it a good service
check setting or replace TPS

had exactly the same problem with mine, its in my mates garage as we speak. he had to take the engine out open the gear box and check the bearings. All the bearings were worn !!!! had to buy a wole bearing kit, £170 . plus labour, lot cheaper than getting it reconditioned by specialists!!! they wanted £1000 for doing exactly what my mate has done for me. This is a problem with the onboard management computer. It probably wasn't reset by the mechanic when the new turbo was fitted. You'll need to take it to someone with the correct diagnostic equipment to get this fault erased. Avoid Renault dealerships. They'll charge anything from £80 to £400 to clear an error. Best find someone independent.
