How do I replace the RKEM (Remote Keyless Entry System) in my 1999 Honda Civic? My driver door lock won't work off the remote (I did try replacing the battery), and I can't think what else the problem might be. I know the remote is still good.
I know the RKEM is located behind the radio, but that's all I know.
Power door lock cylinder is bad replacement is 56.00 from honda or 10.00 power cylinder (2) wire part door locking system must be taken apart to replace

i have a 99 honda civic that came with the remote keyless entry but it doesnt work at all. the light, lights up when i press a button on the remote but nothing happens. ive tried reprogramming it. if it is the sensor in the car how can i tell?
security system light on. Remote entry does not work. I think maybe the security system has a internal battery for memory. I would like to know where this is.
Don't know how to reset code to my 2009 Honda Civic after I replaced the battery.
