I can feel the truck hesitate or bump while changing lanes on the highway (70-80 MPH) if it ... Now it idles ... My truck has a 4.3 with automatic. trucks runs great after about a hour it .... could have been out of timing could also be fuel pump fuel filters. chevy are very bad about fuel pumps have you checked to see if its getting spark or even checked the fuel pump

Check the fault codes anyway. Did you do this fuel pressure testing while the loss of power was occurring? If no the test is invalid.

its right in line with fuel cap under bed

so you replaced the fuel pump because??? ck fuel pressure.

check then crank positon sensor, it control the fuel system. it tell the engine computer when to send fuel

Check your air filter. Could be fuel pump as well

sending unit on the fuel pump in the tank is stuck, and needs to be replaced. its expensive, but that will fix your issue. its the housing around the pump that has the float arm on it. you can try to free the float arm by removing your pump assembly, but cant guarantee its any good after being stuck

could be the fuel pump or the filter could be clogged. prolly cost between $400 and $800 to fix depending on the shop and their prices so its hard to say how much. again this is just a guess
