Either the lights are turned on manually from the headlight/interior light switch, or you have a defective door switch that is telling the module that a door is open, or you have a door that is open, or your module that controls the interior lights is defective. I would start with the simple things, I would make sure all doors are closed. If they are, then check the headlight/interior switch to make sure the interior lights are in the off position, then check all of the door switches. They are simple normally closed push button switches that should be mounted on the car frame near the door hinges.

The interior ligts on my 1989 corvette coupe stays on all the time

make sure the interior light switch is turned off so they only come on when the door is opened(this happens alot),the next thing is it could be a door switch that has a problem thinking its open.you could also have a headlight switch that has an internal problem like a short that is allowing power to the interior light wire circuit of the switch causing the interior lights to stay on.

Door open light staying on, rear view interior light, and check engine light staying on

The door light and interior lights are staying on because one of your door switches needs to be replaced. The vehicle is sensing that a door is ajar and that will keep your interior lights on. This should not necessarily set the check engine light off however. I would believe that there is another issue setting off the check engine light. If there is a parts store in your area ask them if they can scan your vehicles check engine light, and if there is a charge. They will be able to retrieve a code that will explain the problem of your check engine light being on
