You don't repair it, you replace it. jack it up, remove the brakes, and all the brake assembly from that axle,, http://www.ehow.com/way_5731956_ford-rear-brake-replacement-instructions.html then remove the bearing cap,, cotter pin, and nut from the spindle , ( you might want to replace the wheel bearing at the same time due to the bad axle ) remove the axle bolts,, and shock bolts, from the axle beam. remove axle beam assembly

New rear axles for Contours are just about as rare as the proverbial hen's teeth. You'll probably have to get one from a salvage yard.

What will it cost and is it a hard job to fix a leaf spring ( rear right side) that is bent on a ford contour 2000?

The suspension on Ford Contours (all years) is what is called a "strut" suspension, on both the front and rear, and DOES NOT USE LEAF SPRINGS! Instead, the shock absorber is built into a "strut" that is the main vertical suspension component, and has a coil spring around it. If someone has told you your Contour has a "bent leaf spring", they do not know what they are talking about, or they are trying to scam you! Take your car to a qualified (and hopefully honest!) shop to get it checked out.

The rear of my 1996 ford contour sways right to left while driving.

Your vehicle is "dogtracking", your best bet would be to take it in for
a 4 wheel alignment. Most legitimate places will give an estimate in writing.
This could even be from previous accident repairs if this vehicle was
purchased used.

My brother went into the ditch with my car, (right side in snow) and was pulled out by a buddy. For some reason they heated and bent something, then pulled it out with the left rear tire (i believe). After...

that car should be front wheel drive and will not have a rear axel but will have an arm of a frame on the back you probably need to take the car to a tire store you trust and see if they bent something if not then you will probably need to get a 4 wheel alignment to true the back end and prevent that uneven wear.

I hit a curd on the side of my rims i have 275 45 20 i broke 3 studs i replaced all studs and they broke again i do hear a noise everything the wheel turns faster i go the faster the sound and how much to...

If you broke 3 studs when you hit the curb then you can be sure that at the very least you have bent the rim, which will have to be replaced. At the worst you have bent an axle which will have to be replaced. You may have bent the rear end housing as well. This needs to go to a repair shop and be checked over to determine the extent of the problems. Don't put this off, it's very troubling that the studs broke again. Hope this helps.

Where is the ignition module located on the 1996 ford contour?

tragik nc: In looking this car up in both the 4 and 6 cyl configurations, Ford said that the ignition control module is no longer a separate component. It is actually integrated into the PCM (power control module)
This is located in the right rear corner of the engine compartment behind the power steering reservoir.
