First off, i let the car sit all winter and didn't turn it on once. so when i wanted to drive the accord again it wouldnt start. i replaced the battery, spark plugs, valve covers, starter, used dry gas in case the fuel seperated, put gas back in it... NOTHING! what should i check next..

I would check the fuel pressure. You will need a fuel pressure gauge to check it, but it could be a bad fuel pump or plugged fuel filter. A gauge will help you test them.

The distributor is a high failure rate item on Hondas if I had to guess I would guess the distributor is the culprit. good luck.

Why won't my miss fire?

Fuel injectors may be dirty.. or plugged. The car just sitting there may have caused the gas to go bad which may have given them a head start on plugging from the get go. Get some cleaner for it.
When the dash lights blink, is it unlike anything you've seen it do before?

I need help with my 89 accord Lxi, EFI When I cold start it the RPMS shoot up to about 2000, drops to about 1700, climbes back up to 2000, stays there for about 4min. Shoots up to about 2300, stays there...

Have you tested the IAC (idle air control) sounds like it's sticking, I have tried to clean them but it was short lived, so once you have determine it's bad (after market $85) I would replace it and solve the problem.

Not the Key but the ignition itself. Replace teh ignition module where the key is inserted to start the vehicle and that should resolve the issue.

You sound like you are low on fluid or your thermosstate needs to be change to proper weather (winter or summer). Check it out. Hope you didn't use pure antifreeze ! 50/50 mix... or premixed.

dont think timing is jumping as you describe but more like the advance unit on the distributor ,advance timing and it will start but when cold zilch had this before more than once and on more than one make of vehicle ,favourite for this is the old land rover discovery with teh V8 engine ,pull vacumn pipe off the inlet manifold for the advance unit and **** on and you you will see what i mean ,**** and put tongue on end of pipe and it will lose the **** ,.

make sure u have gas in it lol no really check ur oil to see if there is water in it if there is blown gasket or cracked block or head. if not hold it to the floor and crank on it
