Before you mess it up all to *ell. call a dealer and schedule a maintenance check-up. while they have it ask them to teach the car to know your new remote. takes just a minute and they most likely will not charge you if you are there for something else.

I have problem with remote control, my remote control gives me blue light to switch the dashboard on but there is no lights coming on the dashboard. what is the problem

Hi, your remote has probably lost its coding. If you have the owners manual check page 65 learning additional remotes. If not do the following 1. Plug in the 6 pin hopped coded plug to control unit under drivers seat. 2. Press unlock button twice to disarm. 3. Press learn button on hopped coded plug. this erases all pre learnt codes. The led on dash should start blinking once per sec. 4. Press learn button on hopped coded plug again. The led on dash remains on for 4 sec. and then starts blinking faster. Ensure to do step 5 within 25 sec. 5. Press any button thrice on your remote that has a problem. 6. In response led on dash remains on for 4 sec and then blinks once per sec. This indicates that the remote has been learnt. Hope this helps.

Lost my keyless entry remote and key to 2010 hyundai eleantra

Your solution is to contact the nearest Hyundai Dealership to acquire new remote(s) and have their Service Department program the new remote(s) to your vehicle.

Tryin to locate the keyless entry reciever and the Set/Off button

The ETACS unit, which controls the alarm, is bolted to the dash chassis and is located immediately behind the climate control cluster. You need to gain access to this unit to code a new remote. Technically, you are not coding the remote; what you are doing is re-programming the ETACS module to remember and accept the secret code transmitted by the remote. The ETACS unit is designed to remember and accept up to two remote codes. If you wish to add a third remote, the dealer must program the third remote to utilize the same code from one of the other two remotes (called code-saving). There is no way to do this yourself.

The Project

1) Remove the dash facia using the "Easy Dashboard Removal" DYI posted
here by member kmr327.

2) Remove the four screws securing the climate control cluster, pull it forward, and remove the wiring harness.

3) Using a flashlight, (and cramming your head), find the sticker that marks the location of the set switch on the ETACS unit. It is on the right side of the ETACS unit, below the antenna input (the antenna can be unplugged -- it utilizes the same type connecter as the AM/FM antenna). Note the positions on the sticker for "Off" and "Set". By default, the switch is in the "Off" position, which is the normal functioning position. Next to the sticker is a small piece of tape covering the recessed slider switch, which you can not actually see. Remove the tape with a razor blade or by picking at it with your fingernail.

4) Once the tape is removed, use a jeweler's screwdriver or other similar small tool to flip the switch into the "Set" position. (Note: if you unplugged the antenna from the ETACS unit, the antenna must be plugged into the ETACS unit at this point and the car's battery must be connected). You are now ready to code the remote. NOTE: When you code the new remote, you must re-code your old one at the same time or the old one will no longer work. To code the remote, press either the lock OR the unlock button of the remote once. Do the same thing for the second remote. Try to do the second remote within two seconds of the first one. Slide the switch back to the "Off" position. Verify that both remotes function. If they do not, set the switch to the "Set" position again and repeat the procedure. If you continually run into problems, try coding only one remote. I have heard on some of the forums that the second remote has to be pressed within a second of the first and that it may take several attempts to be successful. I did not encounter this problem.

5) Reassemble the dash facia.

Hope this information is useful!

The Radio is a True Statement. It will need a Lockout Code installed to bypass the Theft Deterent. On the Remote, The light will still flash But, It could still need a Battery anyway if the Battery has just enough Power to Turn the Light on and not Enough to send the Code to the Vehicle to Perform the Desired Actions.
