My car occasionally wont start it acts as if it wants to start but wont , and sometimes while I'm driving the engine shuts off and the battery light comes on. I had auto zone test battery an alternator and they say they are fine, I just had a new starter put in.
Does anyone know what's wrong with my car? I took the alternator, starter, and battery out of the vehicle and had them tested at autozone everything was fine. I then put all of the parts back in charged the battery for awhile and the car started. I then took the battery back to have it fully charged and now I'm back to square one.Does anyone know what's wrong with my car? The crank position sensor on your 3800 sounds like it is going bad...this is sometimes difficult to show up on diagnostics...The part is about $35...location is near the main crank pulley...Hope this helps.
