Were do I hook up tacho wire to dizzy

You need to remove the glove box/cubby hole. Remove the ECU cover. Locate the middle of the 3 connectors(orange) and pin 43 on that (orange) plug (3rd hole from the left, top row when viewed from the wire side) This is the signal line for the tach.

Leaking brake fluid from the middle of car 2000 grand marguis

Sounds like a brake line is cracked and leaking. Stop driving that car until you fix this. Break fluid leaks can cause sudden loss of hydraulic pressure and a complete break failure.

My middle break light comes on but the break light to the right and the left of of the middle light are not coming on. I've checked the fuses and the bulbs. Any suggestions on what the problem is and how...

Check the two outside bulbs to see if they are the same model of bulb that is in the middle. I'm thinking that the two outside bulbs are just taillights and not brake lights.

Replace rear tail light on ford focus wagon 2000

http://wiki.answers.com/Q/How_do_you_replace_the_tail_light_assembly_on_a_2000_Ford_Focus_SE_Station_Wagon

abar_a.gif?v=77611 Remove two screws and rotate to the side

To remove the rear light assembly for access to turn signals and brake lights:
1) Open the trunk to expose two screws.
2) Remove these two screws.
3) There are two brackets still holding the housing onto the car. Do NOT pull up and do NOT pull up on the housing; you will break the plastic pegs on the lamp housing.

4) Referring to the driver side lamp housing and facing the back of the car:

a) You can see these pegs and brackets on your left hand side if you pull the light housing GENTLY outward. The pegs are pointing into the vehicle from the left side of the car and stick into holes. There is also a spring bracket holding the housing on where the screws are.

b) To remove the housing from the brackets, push/pull the right side of the lamp housing outward and to the left. Do this carefully so that you do not break any of the plastic pegs. What you are looking to do is detach the housing from the spring bracket, and then push/pull the pegs from their holes. You are simply rotating the lamp housing out of the brackets.

Simply mirror instructions for removal of passenger side housing.

Replacement:
This part is a little easier. Line the pegs up with the holes, and then push gently to line up spring bracket with it's hole. Then, push with a little force to get the spring in the hole. Make sure the pegs are in their holes or else it will be crooked and loose.

Take your time! You do not want to break the plastic. It should eventually come loose. With any plastic on your vehicle, be careful not to force it. Good luck!

My mini van 1999 dodge caravan , the front drivers side wheel , breaks squeak while driving but not when i apply breaks the break light comes on intermittently . what could be the problem ?

this is likley to be a sticky piston in the brake caliber,,,stirp the brakes out on both sides of the car and free off the pistons by cleaning them first then pushing them right back into the calibers chace that the caliber is free to slide as well use copper grease on the caliber pins and on the "back" of the brake pads,, check there is plenty of life left in the pads if not fit a new set to "both sides" dont just fix one side do both sides or the car wont stop in a strate line or may pull to one side!

How to tighten uo the hand break cable on my bmw

You'll need to remove the center console that is over the hand brake. (screws and clips will most likely be hidden)
Once the console is off, you should be able to see two cables connecting to the base of the lever (one cable on the left of the lever and one to the right as these control the ebrake on their side of the car respectively.
Loosen the nut and you can shimmy the cable to tighten it.
Don't do it too tight or your ebrake may be engaged even though the lever is all the way down.

Break lights are not working on my 2001 ford expedition

You need to replace your brake light switch which is located on your brake pedal. The reason that the right and left are out and the middle isn't is because there are two sides to the switch for vehicles with three brakes lights. It is a very easy part to replace and is relatively inexpensive. Change that switch out and you will be good to go. Let me know if you have any other questions.
