What is the code if a 1990 ford airbag light code 10

The code 10 for srs (air bags) is the thermal fuse inside the
diagnostic monitor is blown, it will do this if vehicle was in an accident, airbags were deployed and crash sensors trigger, safing sensors were also triggered or if the circuit to the monitor was at one point shorted to ground blowing fuse.a code 10 is just telling you the monitor thermal fuse is no good snd you must replace module. But if vehicle was not in an accident and you had a different code flashing at some point, usually a code 5 showing a hard fault short,or if it's flashing that now, this MUST be repaired BEFORE the new monitor is put in or you will ruin new monitor, and there not cheap.

Air bag light flashes code 51.

If your airbag code is blinking, and you get 51, it means that your internal thermal fuse in your airbag computer is blown which is caused by an intermittant short to ground on one of the wires in the circuit. When the short to the ground is removed, code 51 flashes with the use of the airbag warning lamp, 5 flashes, pause, 1 flash, longer pause. According to the Ford, this is a nonrepairable fix, you must buy a new air bag module which is a blue box located in the vicinity of the the steering column.

2001 Vic. Need to reset airbag module, light is constant on due to previous accident. air bag "replaced" or so they say. Any body got a how to

This vehicle will run a diagnostic test every time the key is turned on. If the light is on, there is likely still a fault. You should have someone check for trouble codes in the airbag module.
It is my experience that, once an airbag is deployed, there is an "arming" switch (usually the control module itself) that also needs to be replaced.

Airbag light keeps flashing

That indicates a fault with the airbag system, and your airbags will not operate in the event of an accident.

Take your car to a good mechanic or local Ford dealer to have the problem determined.

Keep in mind that if you live in an area that does anual vehicle saftey inspections, your car will not pass inspection with that light flashing or on.

Airbag light is on

Ok that Sounds about right but only one problem, for all the components to be BAD, this means that this vehicle was involved in a serious enough accident for airbag to deplore. In most states its illegal to replace air bad that have been used. The airbag module will cost a pretty penny and the spool or "clockspring" will cost a pretty penny. Depending how much you paid for this vehicle + cost of these repairs to make this vehicle safe to drive becuase remember with airbag light ON airbags are NOT functional. The thing that I am thinking about is, was this a good purchased?JUST BEING FRANK WITH YOU Good luck and contact if you need more help. Thanks for using FIX YA

Airbag indicator light

i dont know of any state that fails a vehicle for an airbag light but it would be wise to get the system checked out. it means there is a problem with the airbag system and itis possible it will not deploy during an accident or it may deploy without warning. the most likely cause would be a bad clockspring

Airbag passenger side

44 - Right Hand Radiator Primary Crash Sensor Not Mounted to Vehicle Properly.

When the Airbag light is blinking, your airbag is disabled and many insurance companies now do a diagnostics on any failed safety equipment in injury accidents....they will not pay 100% percent if there is owner's negligence to maintain vehicle safety equipment. I am still looking into possible causes for this error. I will post any updates as warranted.
