I have a 2000 toyota Echo and in left turns the steering stops working and the car drifts or slides until i press on the brake and it regains steering control. Whats going on? This happens only occa

have the front end steering joints and suspension checked by an accredited front end specialist. Check the wheel bearings and cv joints for serviceability. Although you say it is only occasionally it is a critical issue as on any occasion it may place you or others in harms way.

Why is my 2000 Toyota Echo misfiring on left turns ?

Sounds like you have a wire in the steering column that is shorting when you turn left but goes back to close to normal when you turn back to straight. Check the wiring harness coming out of the steering column.

Why does my 2000 Toyota Echo misfire on left turns ?

It sounds like you have a wiring or connector problem in the steering column. I'm surprised your mechanic did not think to check for that.

Trouble starting my 2002 toyota echo I turn the key, hear the i believe fuel pump come on but then nothing. Sometimes it fires right but when i turn it off after running it won't restart

When it doesn't start after shutting it off can you still hear the fuel pump come on? The best way to tell is to take the gas cap off and put your ear next to the filler neck while someone turns the key to the on position. If you don't hear it, it may be time for a new one.

Video how to to change the blower fan on toyota Echo 2002

This blower fan in the 2002 Toyota Echo is located under the dashboard on the passenger side of the vehicle. It is covered by a plastic panel that snaps into place and shields the motor from accidental damage. When the blower fan fails, air will not come out of the vehicle's vents despite the fan control speed setting. A replacement blower motor can be purchased from a certified Toyota dealerships or any auto parts store

Hi i have a 2002 toyota echo the passenger side rear floor board is soaked cant seem to find where its coming in at please help with any suggestions thanks

top up all of your fluid levels and run car at medium range of revs for up to 5 minutes. check if any fluids have dropped significantly. if i guessed at any it would be your brake fluid so take EXTREME caution as this will cause extremely unreliable and unresponsive brakes. it is also a corrosive a flamible liquid. however, if it isnt this check under the carpet of your car for a whole in the floor, or anyother places outside fluids could seep in around that area.
