Radio cassette i have accent Model 2000, the radio has working perfect when release the battery cable and fix it again the radio did not work, may be have a code , i have not this code

if radio ground is good and power is 12v
that is a radio
you can test any radio on the bench. to prove it is a bad radio.
ask how. (battery , 2 speakers, and an antenna)
is the CD or cassette dead too, is AM and FM dead.

When you disconnect your battery and then reconnect it again, it disables the radio. This is an anti-theft protection for your car radio.
The enable your radio the activation code is in your vehicle owner's manual. If you do not have this code you need to go to your Toyota service centre and get them to enter this code for you.

the radio most likely has a security code activated & until you reactivate the code the radio will not work, you may have to take it to a place where they install radios to get the problem sorted out.........hope this helps........cheers,

Regretfully due to reasons of theft or piracy we do not pass the radio codes here at FixYa. If you contact your local Mercedes-Benz dealer they will give you the 5 digit code. (You must have your registration and know the complete serial number of the radio)

If you have the correct radio code for the unit, just wait about an hour with the power on in the radio. The screen will eventually display (code) or (enter code) follow the directions in your radio manual to enter the code and the radio will be operational again. The safe mode is on because either the radio fuse blew, the battery was too low on charge or the radio was momentarilly disconnected from it's power source. Most common is low battery voltage. Charge your vehicle battery, locate the radio code, wait till radio displays CODE and enter the code an have happy tunes again.

Take/Tow your vehicle to an authorized Hyundai dealership and pay the diagnostic fee... they will tell you exactly what the problem is and the cost of parts/labor to fix it... at least this way you'll know what the problem is and what's required to fix it.

i'm not familar with that particular radio.... but try unhooking the battery for about ten minutes then hook the battery up again.... it should be fine.

The whole idea of a radio security code is that it protects the radio from theives, if it was that simple to get the radio working again there would be no point in having a code in the first place.
l am afraid the only way you are going to get your radio code is to go to a main dealer, once you have got it write it down somewhere safe.
