Sounds like the cam position sensors sticking thru
the valve covers.

My 2004 v8 is doing that on the driver side a little.

Big job to remove valve covers for that,to replace a seal
Live with it & wipe off every couple of weeks

Will a 2000 lincoln ls rack and pinion fit on a 2004 lincoln ls? Does it matter if it's v6 or v8? I have a 2004 lincoln ls 3.9 liter v8 and need a rack and pinion. Somebody please HELP.

engine size is immaterial when it comes to steering
what matters is body length, mounting positions and methods, tie rod lengths , position of pinion , method f attaching steering shaft
best if you go to a wreckers and view both steering assemblies side by side to check any differences
or you can pull both out and interchange or you can go to a dealer spares and see if the boxes have the same part numbers
or you can ring a steering specialist shop and ask if there is any differences

Pcv 2004 lincoln ls v8 where

For the Lincoln LS V8, there is a flexable tube on the drivers side of the engine that runs from the valve cover/crankcase to the air intake tube. There isnt a PCV valve for this engine, it is just a tube for ventilation.

I have a lincoln ls 04 v8 3.9 the computer has giving me these code p2107 p2110 can some one help please

You have COP Ignition Coils Misfiring

They are bad enough to spike the PCM
and come back on the TPS Sensor and set
the 2107 & 2110 TACM Codes
(Throttle Actuator Control Motor)

You should have about 5 more codes

There is a leak from thebfront of block under radiator cap. Needed to know part name for a 2004 Lincoln LS v8

well is the leak under the radiator cap or the engine block? the engine and the radiator are not the same thing. a dealer service department has illustrated parts breakdowns and i have never been refused a look, so long as i was patient and courteous. that way you get the name of the part, the part number, the dealer price, and the average time involved for a mechnic to replace it. you can actually help yourself in some instances.

Replace coils on 2004 Lincoln 4.6L V8

You don't have a 4.6 V8 on an L/S. That is a truck motor

You have a 3.9 V8

You remove the covers, on top off the valve covers with a 7mm socket,as well as the coil with 7mm.

OIL LEAK & COIL PROBLEMS-, 2004 lincoln LS 6 CYL. HAVE HAD OIL LEAKS SINCE NEW, DEALER FINALLY FIXED THEM AFTER I POINTED OUT THAT I NOTICED THE PVC VALVE TUBE LEAKING. I WAS THEN ADVISED THAT IT WAS A...

The oil leak will only cause a COP Coil Misfire---IF,the valve cover O'Ring is leaking oil, onto the spark plug.
If you have a PO304 Code with the check engine MIL Light on,then replace the COP Coil on #4.

Please DO NOT GO TO A DEALER. It is a WASTE OF MONEY

A 12 year old could change a coil, on your LS
All you need is a 7mm socket and wrench, for the coil cover and the one coil screw.
I just did one on my 2004 LS V8 in Feb. It was $59.00 at the local auto parts store
I don't dislike dealers, there is just no reason to go there ,except to buy parts, and only when the parts are dealer only.
Any repair shop can work on any vehicle.
If you ever have issues and you will have lots,I have all the shop manuals and wiring diagrams and Emission Diagnostic manual
