There won't be a switch,, its automatic,, if its electric,, and is run by a relay located in the under hood fuse box, if you have 2 fans, one is for the ac, and it will start up when the ac is turned on

that could be the problem, but as long as its going to the dealer to fix that have them put an ignition switch in too. there has been alot of people having the same problem such as yours, and i know alot of times that switch is the problem.
check the coolant fan switch. on 4 cyl. engines it 's mounted on the driver side of cylinder head. on 6 cyl. engines it's mounted on the intake manifold, just above the water pump.there will be 3 sensors,it will be the one on the left. good luck
