My 1996 GMC Sierra V6, shakes and Stalls sometimes while going uphill. If I let off the gas the power will come back up as if nothing happened. The Service engine light comes on and the scope says its a misfire in cylinder #1. I have replaced the sparke pluggs etc...but it still does it. The service engine light eventually goes out by itself. Any ideas?

Like to other guy said, give it a tuneup. Also try SEAFOAM to clean carb up of slug. Also check to make sure the butter fly for the choke has not come loose, causing it the choke it down. Failed choke pull-off.

it turnd out too be the fuel pressure regulator,you have too pull the upper intake too replace it!!
