where is the vacuum and how much is it 2 fix and how can i fix it?

  • Anonymous Mar 21, 2014

The air handler for the 2004 Accord is very nice in that it has a push button control to direct the vent flow, but due to this it apparently is also fragile. My control panel lights up and each green LED indicates which vent is supposed to get air, but the actual control motor or linkage moving the vent control is not working. Is this a common problem?

You have lost vacuum to the control head or the vacuum switch is defective in the control head, the vacuum comes from the engine.

2004 Honda pilot no rear air

The rear heat and and air will, only work if the front heat or air is on too. Place the front vent selector on the icon for feet and top vents.
The rear console has its own blower too, check the fuse for it.
good luck

Air vents: Ford Fairlane (1992)

In regards to the air vent direction. Look inside on the side of the heater and see if the actuator motor is moving the doors when you select the position to blow air on the vents or floor of car. They are a small motor and burn out and sometimes just stick.

In my 1998 Honda Accord Lx the hot air does not come out of the heater vents in the floor, the same is true for cold air in the middle vents on the dash. The side vents on the dash work fine.
