Look for a relay in the under hood fuse box location for one that says starter, or IGN,, there are usually other relays the same,l so switch two and see if that helps your problem, if so,, replace the bad relay

1998 Ford Explorer. Where is starting solenoid located on it please?

Check your fuse boxes and the fusible link in the wiring harness. If you've lost power to the engine computer, bypassing the ignition switch won't help you.

Where is the starter relay located on a 1996 saturn sl1

Does not have a starter relay , When turning to key to start ,the ignition switch sends battery voltage through the park neutral safety switch ,for automatic transmissions or the clutch switch for manual trans . right to the starter solenoid . If you have a automatic trans try putting the gear selector into neutral . an see if it starts then . Have someone try an start it while you check for battery voltage at the starter solenoid S terminal . If it has Battery voltage at the S terminal ,voltage drop test the main B+ cable to the starter .

I need a starter switch wiring diagram..

It's probably your starter solenoid that is stuck on. Older fords had this solenoid or relay located on the passenger fender apron, but I think on your '95 model, it is located on the starter motor itself.

There are copper contact points or buttons inside the solenoid. Yours must have stuck together. Pretty simple fix: pull the starter off and change the solenoid.

My jeep won't start and it's not the battery. I get under with a screwdriver and jump the starter and it starts right up'... So what do you think is the problem? and how can I fix this?

Your starter solenoid is bad >
When you use the screw driver you are bypassing the job that the solenoid does.
Hope this helps give feedback thank you Fixya

I have 2003 model, 5-speed maual transmission. Had trouble starting engine a few times in last cople of days. Thought I didn't push clutch in all the way. Started after a couple of tries. Eventually...

If there is no "clicking noises" at all first you have to bypass the Clutch Start Switch. To do so remove two wires from the Start Switch and connect them together.
If it doesn't work trouble shoot starter and solenoid. With a wire connected to (+) terminal of the battery power up the solenoid, at the thin wire contact of the starter. You need another person to help you, in the cabin turning the ignition key in ON and start position. If starter and solenoid are O.K this will start your car. If not you have to replace the starter + solenoid assembly. Good Luck.

Fault code 37

I would check the wiring near the starter for any problem, is it tight, not corroded and so on, if no issue is found there then the starter and or solenoid should be replaced, I almost always do both except were the starter solenoid is remote from the starter location like on fords, then test the remote solenoid 1st.
