Yes, it is a very involved job on the Montero's
But here are the instructions, with pictures (wait, it does take a while to download)

Depending on your skill level, read them, then go and look at it, and then determine if it is something you want to do. A job like this, you do have to have a fair amount of tools, and a place to do it (like a garage).
You can't just start, get part way into it, and stop. It's an easy Saturday afternoon job.

Thxs Coss71 ... the info on the link was pretty helpfull and let me do the jod ...It was a sunday´s afternnon job but evrything was quite good ... thxs and appreciated ... I would add some comments for those that want to do the same job:
On the link and step 4: There is a metallic gasket and must be handle with care ... remember in which position is when you reassemble that part.
Take care to put all the screws in a plate and in the same order as you are taking away ... in such way you will reasemble everything very well .... there are around 20 screws to take out and let you remove the plenum up ... you only need a rack with 10 and 12 mm bolt only and two screw driver (flat and star one)... have fun and it´s not so difficult as it seems
