it is probably not a hyundai problem as they do not paint those items
It may have been over painted before delivery or before you got the vehicle

take out the cubby with the dimmer switch. and it's right behind that. its the top small black one.

Research revealed no data availabe for code P0447 - doesn't exist for Hyundai Accent.

There are codes P0446 and P0445, but nothing with P0447.

It could be one or more things. You need to have a code scanner plugged into it, to find out for sure what the problem is.

I use to have a Hyundai Pony once, there was no cable there.
But still you need to remove the inside cover etc. to get there.
I became an expert blindfolded and a hyunday hater afterwards.

Disconnect the battery for an hour and the check engine light should go off ... it posiby resets everything, hiope it works for you!
