Probably the inertia switch for the fuel pump..You owners manual should show you where its located..See if the button has pop up ..If it has push it back down until it clicks..If it wont stay down then hold it down and see if it will start..If it does you will have to replace it..If thats all good then check the relay for the fuel pump..

I did the same thing , I replaced the fuel pump but didn't change the fuel filter but I did change the fuel pump relay, my mechanic at midas said changing the filter won't fix the problem. The truck does not show any codes or any check engine lights are on, so he said that's what makes it hard to diagnose the problem . The truck runs great for a few weeks then it just doesn't want to crank the next day ,I let the truck sit for a day then the truck fires rite up with no problem. I keep the maintenance up on this truck very well its a 03 with 110,000 miles on it . There has to be someone with a solution to our problem can't go to Ford I'll have to take out a second mortgage to pay them guys, someone please help us.

When you say it wont crank..Do you mean it will turn over but not crank or do you mean the starter motor will not engage..If it turns over but not start,,then look see if your security light is flashing rapidly..And yes a fuel filter can cause problems like that if its turning over but not starting..Plus you should have replaced every 20000 miles at the most..

2003 ford escape have changed egr sensor, fuel pump and filter and plugs but will turn over but won't crank

Do you have spark, the right fuel pressure, are the injectors firing? Scan the ecm for any codes for electronic problems.

My 2003 ford expedition wont stay running changed out iac valve I was told that was the problem but it is still doing the same thing . before I changed that that truck had a serge it was doing was to

Check fuel pressure. Probably needs a new fuel filter. Also MAF sensor could need cleaning as well as the throttle plate. Make sure air snorkel has no cracks and clamps are tight. I presume the air filter is in good order. If not, replace it.

My 2003 ford expedition sometimes feel like it is loosing pressure then i give it more gas then i stops acts as if it can't breath

When was last "heathy" tune up? Plugs, wires, all fluids & filters - especially fuel filter? I'd start there and run a good fuel system cleaner through it.

1999 Expedition - when in idle the speedometer and RPM needles occasionally go wild... any advise_

when was the car last serviced? if recently serviced what service did the garage do? servicing the car at 20,000 km involves changing spark plugs/ clean or change air filter, fuel filter/ engine oil filter in some case it alson involves cleaning the throttle body and cleaning injectors.depends on your climate and driving condition, your car might be having a faulty airflow meter or faulty idle speed control sensor, have those two checked or cleaned then if problem still the same have your car checked by a code reader to pinpoint the problem.

Can bad fuel injector damage spark plugs on a 2005 Ford Expedition? and if fuel injectors being replaced should less labor be needed for spark plug replacement?

A bad fuel injector can cause spark plug issues. If the injector does not supply enough fuel, the cylinder(s) without enough fuel will run hot, often damaging the spark plugs.

But your mechanic needs to make sure that the injector is the issue and not a fuel pressure issue from regulator, filter, or pump. Hopefully he/she has already done those checks.

As far as the labor cost being less the spark plugs wouldn't be removed during the fuel injector replacement. Even if they did, most mechanics won't cut the price. But if you are a regular customer it can't hurt to ask.

My 2003 expedition giving code po171 have cleaned maf sensor in the air box didn't work what should i try next

P0171 is a lean fuel condition bank 1. Could be a bad O2 sensor on that side of the engine.

Could be a plugged fuel filter. How long since it was replaced? Close to or beyond the recommended interval?

Other possibilities...
Failing fuel pressure regulator.
Failing fuel pump.
Failing or plugged fuel injector.

Changing spark plugs

Changing the spark plugs on a 1997 Ford Expedition 5.4L engine takes patience. Remember to start this project on a cold engine! I started on the passenger side by locating the Coil over iginition coils and cleaned out all the old dirt using some compressed air. Then I had to disconnect the electrical connections to both the Coil over ignition coils and the passenger side fuel injectors. Once you remove the small bolt which holds the ignition coil in place, use your compressed air again to blow out the spark plug hole. After that, you will need a 5/8" swivel spark plug socket and various length extensions to remove the spark plugs. Take your time because there is not much room for your hands. Before installing the new plug, check the gap and use clean engine oil on the new threads. Tighten the new spark plug and reinstall the coil over ignition coil. Reconnect the electrical connection to both the ignition coil and the fuel injector. Continue these steps with all eight spark plugs. You will find the ones on the drivers side are difficult because of the fuel rail gets in your way. Have patience and use swivel extensions to work around the tight spaces. When you are done, you will have saved lots of money! Don't forget to replace your air filter, fuel filter, and pcv valve to complete your tune up.
