Fuel pump is located on same side of the fuel, under rear driver seat where there is 3 bolt, 8 more once open, remember to disconnect the wire clip, need a thumb size stopper to stop the top fuel cap. Also once open and taken out to replace the pump- use oem or you will be cutting and connecting wires.

If you are talking about the fuel filter. Generally they are located along the frame rail under neath of the vehicle on the same side as the fuel tank.

CHARCOAL CANISTER SHOULD BE LOCATED NEAR FUEL TANK.IT HAS BOLTS MOUNTING IT ABOVE CROSS MEMBER NEAR FUEL TANK IT HAS VENT HOSES AND A ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR GOING TO IT.

P0446 = Evaporative Emission Control System Vent Control Circuit failure - the circuits that control the charcoal cannister are faulty or they are detecting a failure in the valves. Check the tank cap, the valves and the vacuum tubes to the cannister.

Locating the starter on 1998 Lexus GS400

sets below the intake manifold and takes about 5 hours to replace even if you are handy with cars it is a big job to take on.after doing over 50 or more for an old recall it still takes me about 2 hours to complete.
