It's either an interference engine or not - if it is, then when you're timing belt snaps, unfortunately all your valves are still going - doesn't mean you'll damage them, but means you can. A belt snapping as you're pulling out of the driveway at 3 mph - not a lot of RPM - may be lucky. Doing 85 on the interstate? More likely damage could occur. I looked at interference engine list.
Ford engines
1.8L--1.9 L and 2.0L sohc are not interference engines. I can only go by the database info.

The brake pedal must come when the engine stops ,like a hand brake,never struck that one before.

sounds like you blew some fuses replace them. then reconnect stock wiring. the get after market deck, amp, and wiring that in it's color coded so it no that hard to do.that 10 inch pa speaker pulls a lot power plus it 8 ohm impudence. your going to need at least a 200 watt amp.bridgeable.

The smoke you could be seeing may be steam, your heater inside the vehicle may have a leak and causing steam to rise out of the vents, if you are smelling the steam this is what I suspect.
Engine vibration could be a number of things, check the engine mounts to start, one of them is probably broken.
