How can I remove my Audio-Cd Player (stock-standard option) from my 2002 Kia Sportage,,2 CD's are stuck inside, and I know that the system if functional,,,
You simply remove face plate, beginning the screws around the ashtray. lift the panel out from the bottow. Clips hold the top. You will then see the screws for the stereo and components.
After you remove all the screws from the dash you have to get down to a section by the pedals and remove something like the airbag to get at the last part of the dash apart. then you need to unplug the mirror and back wiper switches (opt i think). then you have access to your radio. These are all things i gathered from watching the guy at futureshop do, it was about $100 and now I don't have fm radio. but I am now going to try it on my own.
